Fast and Furious Trades: Key Earnings Questions Before The Bell

Morgan Stanley [MS  Loading...      ()   ] reports before the bell tomorrow, a loss of 8 cents is expected. Tim Seymour points out that MS has broken through the moving averages, and the stock is trading fantastically, but all the good news is already out with industry peers, so it’s certainly a stock to watch.

With McDonalds [MCD  Loading...      ()   ] reporting before the bell tomorrow, investors are hoping for a profit of 82 cents, a 1% from last year. Jeff Macke says the stock has been flat for the past year, and doesn’t expect any announcement from the company to change the status quo.

Wells Fargo [WFC  Loading...      ()   ] reports before the bell, investors are looking for a profit of 41 cents, a drop of 31% from last year. With big gains today, Guy Adami sees a play here to be late in the trade, but expects a little more room to the upside.

Boeing [BA  Loading...      ()   ]reports tomorrow, a profit 91 cents is expected, a drop of 44% year over year. Karen Finerman thinks the bar may have been set low on Boeing, and thinks investors could see a pop, even if we see some bad numbers.

Altria [MO  Loading...      ()   ] earnings tomorrow, a profit of 38 cents is expected, a 4% increase from last year. Finerman sees better opportunities elsewhere in tobacco, like Phillip Morris. (PM)

AT&T [T  Loading...      ()   ] will report earnings, investors are expecting a profit of 48 cents, a decline of 35%. Adami says AT&T has had a nice run, but thinks there could be opportunity if they come out with bad numbers, and investors stand to profit on a pullback.
