As the debate over whether the stock market is in the early stages of a bull market or still in the clutches of a bear market rages on, experts share their strategies for investing in uncertain times.

Bullish on Bulls

Cattle prices look set to gain throughout the rest of the year as US inventories remain low and farming conditions are favorable, Tim Hornibrook, division director at Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management, told CNBC.

Profit from Gold

Although gold could be considered a very crowded market at the moment, Benjamin Pedley, MD & investment strategist at LGT Investment Management Asia, told CNBC it is still a good asset to invest in. He reveals at what levels he will be getting into gold.

Investors' Appetite for Islamic Bonds

Allan Redimerio, credit analyst at Standard & Poor's Ratings, spoke to CNBC about investors' appetite for Islamic bonds or sukuks.

US Financials Look More Stable Now

Most US financials look much more stable than they did a couple of months ago, notes King Lip, portfolio manager at Baker Avenue Asset Management.

Get Ready for Gains

King Lip, portfolio manager at Baker Avenue Asset Management, believes we are exiting this bear market decisively, he tells CNBC where the investment opportunities can be found.

Benjamin Pedley, MD & investment strategist at LGT Investment Management Asia, disagreed with Lip’s assessment and thinks the stock market is yet to exit the bear.

Market Rally Can't Last

The current market run-up is unlikely to be sustainable, says Jan Lambregts, Asia Head of Research at Rabobank International. He discusses the rally's effects on major currencies with CNBC.

Short US Treasurys

Benjamin Pedley, MD & investment strategist at LGT Investment Management Asia, recommends shorting U.S. Treasurys. He tells CNBC why and how best to play this.

Financial Sector Looks Overbought

The financial sector looks like it is in overbought territory at the moment, says Christian Goldsmith, international investment specialist at Fortis Investments.
