Battlefield to the Boardroom
How one marine veteran transitioned into the business world, with Donovan Campbell, "Joker One" author and Mad Money host Jim Cramer.

Jim just finished Joker One, the story of Donovan Campbell, who joined the Marines after graduating from Princeton because he wanted to serve a cause greater than himself. Campbell finished two tours of Iraq, enrolled in Harvard Business School and then survived another tour, this time in Afghanistan. Now he’s an executive sales director at Pepsico .

Campbell channeled his experience as commander of a forty-man infantry platoon called Joker One into a book, putting war under the microscope as only those who have lived it can. The fact that Cramer dedicated time from his stock show to speak with Campbell is an indication of just how powerful that book is. Watch this video for more of the story, and what it was like to shift from the battlefield to the boardroom.
