For those faithful Mad Money followers out there, you'd know that Cramer has been on a crusade to bring back the uptick rule and stave off excessive and harmful short selling in the market.
On Tuesday, the SEC will hold a roundtable to discuss the impact the 2007 short sale ban had on the market. This discussion could help lead to the future approval of one of the five separate options for the reinstatement of the rule. Cramer also wants to remind everyone that the halfway mark of the SEC's 60-day comment period on the uptick rule has come and gone, but you can still visit SEC.gov and submit your opinions on the uptick rule by filling out their comment form.
Cramer wanted to get the full perspective from Senator Ted Kaufman (D-DE), who has also been very vocal about the reinstatement of the uptick rule. Check out the video to see Cramer's full discussion with the Senator!
