Microsoft offers stimulus-tracking software
Stimulus360 will help agencies track projects funded by economic stimulus
REDMOND, Wash. - Microsoft Corp. on Monday unveiled a software program that will help government agencies track projects funded by the economic stimulus program.
(Msnbc.com is a joint Microsoft - NBC Universal venture.)
Called Stimulus360, the software will help the public sector meet the requirements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act as they receive and spend funding.
The software uses graphical dashboards, maps and analytics. It includes legislative and regulatory links, report templates and a news feed for stimulus-related updates.
Stimulus360 can be deployed at the agency office itself, using its own hardware and networks, or it could be hosted elsewhere. It integrates with Microsoft Office.
