Fast & Furious Trades For Tuesday

Following are the “Fast & Furious” trades - hot ways to play tomorrow's market moving events.

CHIP BELLWETHER: Applied Materials [AMAT  Loading...      ()   ] reports Tuesday, the company is expected to post a loss of 10 cents.

There's a lot of put buying going on in this stock, explains Pete Najarian. But I think it's protection. There could be more upside.

----------------

ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS? Christie's [CRUPF  Loading...      ()   ] and Sotheby's [BID  Loading...      ()   ] begin their big Contemporary Art Auctions Tuesday. Should you buy the stocks before the auctions?

Last week a Picasso went unsold at another auction, explains Guy Adami. Not a good sign for these guys.

----------------

GO SHOPPING? Key retailers report earnings later this week. How should you trade ahead of the news.

They've had a nice rally, I think retail is a buy on weakness, counsels Jeff Macke.

It’s worth noting that on Fast Money’s Halftime report Jared Levy of Peak 6 took a very different view. He said, "I'd be a seller, I'd be collaring my trades, doing everything to protect them, except for Amazon [AMZN  Loading...      ()   ], I like Amazon keep an eye on that one."

----------------

INTEL INVESTOR MEETING TUESDAY: Intel [INTC  Loading...      ()   ] holds their investor meeting Tuesday. The stock is up 10% over the last 3 months; what can we expect?

I think they're going to have some interesting new products, says FBR strategist Craig Berger. My longer term bias on the stock is higher.

----------------

BUY BANKS? With financials [XLF  Loading...      ()   ] selling off Monday, should you be a buyer on this weakness?

I like emerging markets banks including Santander [STD  Loading...      ()   ], HSBC [HBC  Loading...      ()   ] and Itu [ITU  Loading...      ()   ], says Tim Seymour.

----------------

JUMP INTO HEALTH CARE? Healthcare stocks  [XLV  Loading...      ()   ] continue to underperform the market, on fears that the Obama administration will make the space much less profitable. However Oppenheimer chief market strategist Carter Worth sees opportunity, he tells us the sector is a buy on current weakness.

I also think it's a great opportunity to get in, adds Pete Najarian.
