URS Corp, a provider of engineering, construction and technical services, reported a 53 percent jump in first-quarter income as revenue in all its business units rose. The company also reaffirmed its full-year earnings forecast.
Fluor Corp. [FLR

Engineering and construction company Fluor Corp reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings last Monday due to strong demand from the oil and gas industries and the U.S. government.
Fluor's net earnings rose 50 percent to $205 million, or $1.12 per share, topping analysts' average estimate of 93 cents a share, according to Reuters Estimates.
