There are a lot of great opportunities to invest in Africa today, said David Riedel, president of Riedel Research Group.
“[Africa] is seeing growth like you’re not seeing anywhere else in the world,” Riedel told CNBC. “I think there’s a huge future in countries like Africa where you’ve got a very large, young population that’s driving a consumer boom.”
“We’re entering in a third phase of investing in emerging markets. You’ve had the manufactured-export trades, you’ve had the commodities trade, and now you’ve got to be focused on the consumer trade,” he said.
