AmerisourceBergen buys Canadian drug services firm
VALLEY FORGE, Pa. - Drug distributor AmerisourceBergen Corp. on Tuesday said it bought Canadian specialty drug services company Innomar Strategies Inc. for 15 million Canadian dollars, or $13.8 million.
AmerisourceBergen said Innomar provides services to drug companies including consulting, logistics, patient assistance, nursing and clinical research. Innomar has around 200 associates. The company's headquarters is in the Toronto area, with other offices in Montreal.
In morning trading, AmerisourceBergen shares lost 15 cents to $37.50.
