Latvia needs to reach a deal swiftly on the release of more IMF and EU funds under last year's 7.5 billion euro ($10.72 billion) bailout as it battles to calm nerves and avoid a currency devaluation, Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis said on Wednesday.
In an interview with CNBC Europe, Dombrovskis also said that the country needed to at least make an announcement on progress in talks with the IMF within the next few days, or by the beginning or middle of next week.
