POPS (stocks that jumped higher)
Royal Caribbean (RCL) popped 2%. Heavy call volume in the stock suggests a bullish outlook. - I'm keeping an eye on this stock, says Pete Najarian.
Teradyne (TER) popped 6%. Investors gave an ‘A’ to this firm that supplies automatic test equipment. - I like this stock, says Joe Terranova.
Yahoo! (YHOO) popped 2%. Pacific Crest upgraded the company to ‘outperform’ from ‘sector perform’ citing a recovery in advertising. - If ad revenue is picking up, that's great news for these guys, says Tim Seymour.
Keycorp (KEY) popped 20%. RBC Capital upgraded the regional bank to ‘top pick’ from ‘sector perform’ saying risks to the stock are overblown. - I like the big cap names better, explains Karen Finerman.
Micron (MU) popped 10%. Broadpoint AmTech boosted its estimates on the stock. - Prices in memory chips may have bottomed, muses Tim Seymour.
Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB) popped 6%. The bank said it sold a third more stock than previously planned, bringing its sale to $1 billion from $750 million. - I like what's going on in the company, says Pete Najarian.
DROPS (stocks that slid lower)
Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) dropped 12%. May same-store sales declined a worse-than-expected 28%. - The stock is still expense here, says Karen Finerman. I wouldn't buy it.
Avis Budget (CAR) dropped 7%. UBS downgraded the stock to ‘sell’ from ‘neutral’ citing its high valuation. - On a pull back I think it's buy, says Joe Terranova.
