CNBC News Associate
Sam Lieber of Alpine Mutual Funds advised investors on how to make money in the housing sector through emerging markets.
“We’ve had tremendous runs in China, Brazil and India,” Liber told CNBC. “We’ve also been very fortunate in small markets as well.”
Lieber said it is fundamental to have demographics that will drive GDP growth.
“As long as we have a growing consumer base, that’s going to create long-term demand for housing,” he said.
He said there are Indian real estate opportunities that have funds set up in the U.K. and Chinese housing stocks through the Hong Kong market.
