Maria Plays Herself In 'The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3'

Check Maria out in "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" as she hob knobs with Denzel Washington and John Travolta.

Maria plays a financial journalist in the movie (which is who she is in real life and a darn good one!!!). Denzel Washington is watching Maria report about the markets and why the stocks on Wall Street are falling because of John Travolta’s actions.

The crew came out to Englewood Cliffs over a year ago and filmed right here in our home CNBC’s Global Headquarters. When she was done with the shoot, I remember she was really excited about being in the movie. She was thrilled to have a role.
