Managing Editor, CNBC.com

Sometimes technology bites you. It bit us today and some of you folks out there may have suffered for it. We apologize.

The explanation and technical details are complicated. Frankly, my simple journalistic mind can barely follow it. But essentially a little code hiccup last night made it so that readers on some
networks would get an error if they tried to navigate to our site. We hope to fully work the problems out soon.

Obviously we don't like it when these things happen. But they do from time to time. We just try to make those "times" few and far between. And we hope it didn't inconvenience too many of you.

Again, sorry.
