Apparently merely occupying a place on Mad Money’s Wall of Shame wasn’t enough for C. Dowd Ritter. No, the Regions Financial CEO wanted the top spot. So instead of being guilty of just poor execution and all-around mismanagement, he added boldness – and not the good kind – to his list of offenses in an attempt to get there.
What did he do? Well, after taking $3.5 billion in TARP, Ritter took some more: He used the company jet for a family vacation to Greenbrier, an uber-fabulous West Virginia resort, The Wall Street Journal reported. Round trip cost? $17,000. While a Regions [RF

] spokesman said all travel on company jets “either for personal or business was within our policy,” Cramer wasn’t buying it.
