Lightning Round: Sears, AK Steel, Linn Energy and More

Level 3 Communications [LVLT  Loading...      ()   ]: Level 3 has “one of the worst balance sheets in the industry,” Cramer said. While he thinks this stock could pay off as a speculative play in the longer term, he can’t get behind LVLT right now.

LSI [LSI  Loading...      ()   ]: “Incredibly cheap stock,” Cramer said. All LSI needs is a catalyst to make it buy worthy. Unfortunately, he can’t find one, so this stock is a “don’t buy.”

Cubic [CUB  Loading...      ()   ]: Cramer is bullish on CUB, a play on both infrastructure and defense.

Sears Holdings [SHLD  Loading...      ()   ]: While the short-term outlook for Sears may be tough, Cramer likes the stock for the long term.

AK Steel [AKS  Loading...      ()   ]: The only steel company that Cramer will recommend right now is Nucor [NUE  Loading...      ()   ].

Linn Energy [LINE  Loading...      ()   ]: Buy Linn, Cramer said, a great oil-and-gas play with a safe dividend.
