Is "The Big Pierogi" Next For Shaq?
By: Darren Rovell
Sports Business Reporter
Sports Business Reporter
Minus a jersey change on his Twitter page, Shaquille O'Neal has been relatively quiet on the nickname front since being traded to Cleveland.
So we've done the work for him.
I'm partial to Shaqen Loans. But my readers have voted for Shaqron.
We received more than 100 write-in votes, the most common being Witness Protection.
We felt good about Shaqer Heights, but only 16 percent of voters liked that name. Other local favorites were more popular as write-ins, including The Big Pierogi and The Big Cuyahoga.
Shaq, it's all in your hands now. I promise. I won't take 15 percent this time.
