Oil settled at $69.16 per barrel roughly flat for the week.
Gas Prices: The AAA current national average for regular gas is $2.658 per gallon down 34.64% from a year ago when the average was $4.067 per gallon.
The highest recorded average price by AAA was on 7/17/2008, when the national average was $4.114 per gallon.
Currency Impact:
The US dollar lost ground against most major currencies for the week, following the Fed's decision to maintain interest at current levels, boosting investor’s appetite for riskier assets. Comments from China's central bank calling for a super-sovereign reserve currency also put pressure on the greenback.
