The ten highest cartel fines levied against companies by the EU for price fixing:

1. Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA, car glass, 2008: euro896 million.

2. (tie) E.On AG, natural gas, 2009: euro553 million.

2. GDF Suez SA, natural gas, under appeal, 2009: euro553 million.

4. ThyssenKrupp AG, elevators, under appeal, 2007: euro479.7 million.

5. Hoffmann La Roche AG, vitamins, 2001: euro462 million.

6. Siemens AG, power gear, under appeal, 2007: euro396.56 million.

7. Pilkington PLC, car glass, 2008: euro370 million.

8. Sasol Ltd., paraffin, under appeal, 2008: euro318.2 million.

9. Eni SpA, synthetic rubber, under appeal, 2006: euro272.25 million.

10. Lafarge SA, plasterboard, under appeal, 2002: euro249.6 million.
