Following are the week’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of Goldman Sachs and Suncor Energy popped while Nokia dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Goldman Sachs (GS) popped 10%. The bank smashed through earnings estimates and posted record revenues in its fixed income, currency and commodities units. - This company can do things that nobody else can, says Joe Terranova.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) popped 4%. Although the healthcare giant posted lower profits, it still beat expectations. - They're a premiere player, muses Pete Najarian.

Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) popped 19%. The miner moved in tandem with the spot price of copper which climbed to a 5-week high. - I like the stock but at these levels I'd be taking profits, counsels Jared Levy.

Mattel (MAT) popped 15%. The maker of Barbie and Hot Wheels posted a bigger-than-expected 82 percent jump in quarterly profits.

Suncor Energy (SU) popped 14%. Moody’s said that Canada’s oil sands developers will emerge from the recession better poised to profit and singled out Suncor as an example of a company better able to advance its best projects first.

Intel (INTC) popped 17%. The chipmaker issued a stellar earnings report and bullish guidance.

Children’s Place (PLCE) popped 14%. BofA-Merrill initiated covered with a buy and a $32 price target.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Nokia (NOK) dropped 6%. The cell phone giant said second quarter sales fell almost 25% and they lowered their forecast for the second half of the year. - That's just disappointing, says Karen Finerman.
