Commodity Impact: Oil settled at $63.56 per barrel, rising over 6% for the week, for its biggest percent gain since the last week in May.
Gas Prices: The AAA current national average for regular gas is $2.481 per gallon down 39.6% from a year ago when the average was $4.104 per gallon
The highest recorded average price by AAA was on 7/17/2008, when the national average was $4.114 per gallon
Currencies Impact: The US dollar and yen recovered some of their earlier losses this week, as mixed earnings data on Friday, enhanced the greenback's safe-have appeal.
