Basic Energy Services estimates Q2 loss
MIDLAND, Texas - Basic Energy Services Inc., an oil and gas well site services provider, on Wednesday predicted a second-quarter net loss and revenue just shy of analyst expectations.
The company said it expects a quarterly loss between $21.1 million and $22.1 million, on revenue of $118 million to $119 million.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters predicted an average loss of 54 cents per share on revenue of $119.8 million.
Shares of the company rose 9 cents to $6.24 in morning trading.
