Alan Valdes, vice president of Hillard Lyons, and Rob Lutts, founder and CIO of Cabot Money Management, told investors how to prepare their portfolios for the week ahead.
“We have to be bullish longer term,” Lutts told CNBC. “Overseas, there are plenty of really good growth ideas.”
In the meantime, Valdes said the key economic factor he is following is unemployment.
“Even the experts don’t know" where markets are headed, he said. "And our major concern is the basics.”
