What's Driving The Market

The Dow opened down 53, but that is the low for the day, so far...it's been straight up from there and the index has now gone green, led by industrials like Boeing, our parent GE, Caterpillar, United Technologies, and a few consumer stocks like Kraft, Coke, and P&G.

Are home prices stabilizing?

The May S&P/CaseShiller20-city home price index rose 0.5 percent from April, the first monthly increase in nearly three years. Year over year (May to May) prices fell 17.1 percent, which is pretty bad but it was the fourth straight month that the rate of decline slowed.
