Commodity Impact: Nymex crude for October delivery settled at $73.89 per barrel, or its highest close since October 20, 2008.
Gas Prices: The AAA current national average for regular gas is $2.625 per gallon down 29.09% from a year ago when the average was $3.702 per gallon
The highest recorded average price by AAA was on 7/17/2008, when the national average was $4.114 per gallon
Natural Gas for September delivery settled at $2.804 per million BTUs, down 13.40% this week to a 7-year low on record supplies and sagging industrial demand.

Currencies Impact: The US dollar fell against the euro and the yen for the week on positive eurozone data showing an increase in manufacturing output for the first time in 15 months. Upbeat comments from Fed Chairman Bernanke on Friday, suggesting that an economic recovery might be in place, reduced the greenback's safe-have appeal.
