Coca-Cola Enterprises French CEO Commits Suicide
The head of Coca Cola's bottling and distribution company in France has committed suicide, for reasons that are for the moment unknown, French daily Le Figaro reported Tuesday.
Jean-Pierre Bagard, the CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprise in France, was found dead Monday morning in Aix-en-Provence, and the company said its chief had apparently decided "to end his days," the paper reported in French.
The company regrets the departure of a man "of heart and action" who had spent his entire career within Coca-Cola Enterprises, Le Figaro also wrote.
Bagard, who was married and had two sons, had been director of Coca Cola's commercial division for the state of Virginia in the US between 1998 and 2001.
