Cramer: Rebound in Retail?

“We’re getting a big turn in retail,” Cramer said during Wednesday’s Stop Trading!.

Just like housing’s surprise rebound throughout April, May and June, retailers are delivering strong numbers this summer and into the back-to-school season, much to Wall Street’s surprise.

And the sales are coming from both ends of the spectrum, on the high and low end. Family Dollar Store and BJ’s are drawing customers just the same as Ralph Lauren , Tiffany and Williams Sonoma . Cramer doubted that these big-ticket-item sellers would be trending higher if consumers were still feeling the recession.

“The rally’s too broad for me to say it’s not really happening,” Cramer said.
