Following are the day’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of Coca-Cola and Textron popped while Lloyds Banking and the Homebuilders ETF dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Coca-Cola (KO) popped 3%. Investors bet that even if consumers remain weak, they’ll still want the real thing. - It's effervescent, chuckles Karen Finerman.

Textron (TXT) popped 12%. Goldman Sachs upgraded the firm to ‘conviction buy’ from ‘neutral’. - Giddyup, exclaims Pete Najarian.

Brown-Forman (BF.B) popped 6%. The maker of Jack Daniel's whiskey and Southern Comfort, posted a much better-than-expected quarterly profit on Wednesday, helped by lower expenses. - I like this stock with a stop around $44.29, counsels Joe Terranova.

Manitowoc (MTW) popped 3%. Stern Agee upgraded the maker of cranes to ‘buy’ from ‘neutral’ saying its food service unit should see improved demand. - Interesting, says Guy Adami.

Take-Two Interactive (TTWO) popped 8%. The company reported a slightly smaller-than-expected quarterly loss and topped revenue forecasts. - They also settled a lawsuit, adds Karen Finerman.

Las Vegas Sands (LVS) popped 4%. The casino secured commitments to raise up to $600 million through the sale of bonds. The financing would "enhance our current liquidity position and further our efforts toward reaching long-term financial stability," Chief Executive Sheldon Adelson said in a statement. - I think LVS could go higher still, speculates Guy Adami.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Lloyds Banking (LYG) dropped 5%. This Britain-based bank moved lower along with its rivals as financials sold off across the pond. - Pete Najarian doesn't know what to say.

SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF (XHB) dropped 2%. After touching 10-month highs last month, the sector has been shrugging off relatively positive news. - In the space I'd look at DR Horton, suggests, Joe Terranova.

Mom Jeans. LL Bean, the retailer best known for its backpacks, hiking boots and high-waisted, wrinkle-free “mom jeans” is turning over a new leaf. The 98-year old company is bringing in an experienced designer to make a more ‘relevant’ line set to launch next year.
