Commodity ETF Implosion And Wall Street Overhaul

In a release issued Tuesday Deutsche said by September 9th it would redeem outstanding shares of the PowerShares DB Crude Oil Double Long Exchange Traded Notes [DXO

], due to a “regulatory event” in the US market. As you may remember, in August the CFTC announced plans in increase regulations in an attempt to curb excessive speculation.
It's worth noting that other Deutsche exchange-traded products allowing investors to bet on moves in oil prices are still offered.
