Entry Point

As the economy begins to heal, should you bet on casino stocks?

You'd be hard pressed to make a sector call from the analyst notes out recently. Take a look:

Earlier in the week JPMorgan analyst Joseph Greff downgraded Boyd Gaming [BYD  Loading...      ()   ] to 'underweight' citing concern that casinos still faced some serious headwinds. And Greff told Fast Money spend-per-visitor is down in Las Vegas across the board.

And on Thursday Citigroup initiated coverage on Las Vegas Sands [LVS  Loading...      ()   ] with a 'sell' rating and $13 price target.

However Oppenheimer upgraded Wynn [WYNN  Loading...      ()   ] to 'perform' from 'underperform' and raised its price target to $61 citing potential in Macau.

What should you make of all these prognostications? Maybe it's that you need to be picky to play the casino space.

So which stocks should you pick?

I like MGM [MGM  Loading...      ()   ] and I’m long, reveals Jon Najarian.

I’d play the space with MPEL [MPEL  Loading...      ()   ], counsels Tim Seymour.

Or you can check out Shuffle Master [SHFL  Loading...      ()   ], adds Pete Najarian.
