Prop Desk: Construction Trade

Entry Point

On Sunday night, a new billion-dollar baby makes its debut in the form of the Cowboys Stadium. And Guy Adami smells a trade!

As you may know the new stadium, which cost about $1.2 billion will make its regular-season debut when the Dallas Cowboys go head-to-head with the New York Giants.

Until you see it in person, you can't truly appreciate (it), writes ESPN. “I find myself studying the steel wires that are holding the enormous video boards suspended from the ceilings. It's a surreal experience to look up there and see this monstrous scoreboard -- and it's in HD.”

Is there a trade here?

I don’t know that sports stadiums are really a proxy for construction, but if you’re looking for a construction trade look at McDermott [MDR  Loading...      ()   ], counsels Guy Adami. If it trades down to $23 I think it’s a buy.

I’d play construction with Empresas ICA [ICA  Loading...      ()   ] which is based in Latin America, adds Tim Seymour.
