BEFORE THE BELL

Rite Aid

The third largest US drug store posted a lower profit of $0.14 per share in their second quarter that ended Aug. 29. Revenue fell 3 percent to $6.3 billion from $6.5 billion a year ago. The company [RAD  Loading...      ()   ] lowered its outlook for 2010 because of the difficult economic climate.

The networking solutions posted earnings of 8 cents a share in its first quarter ending Aug. 28, beating analyst estimates. The company [COMS  Loading...      ()   ] also reported higher-than-expected revenue of over $290.5 million, a 15 percent decrease its profit a year ago.
