Oracle to buy HyperRoll for undisclosed sum
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Business software maker Oracle Corp. said Tuesday it agreed to buy HyperRoll, which provides software used to analyze large amounts of financial data, for an undisclosed sum.
Oracle said the deal will help its customers report financial results faster and at a lower cost.
The acquisition is expected to close later this year. HyperRoll's employees are expected to join Oracle.
Oracle's shares fell 5 cents to close at $21.12.
