2-Years Since the Market Highs
Today marks the 2-year anniversary since the S&P and Dow hit their all-time highs. The Nasdaq hit its high (not an all-time high) a few weeks later. The peaks were the culmination of an five-year bull market that began in at the end of 2002 and picked up steam in early 2003. Coincidentally, the Dow hit its 2002 low this same week in October.
Here is a look at how the indices and the VIX have faired since 10/9/07, including the best and worst performers of each index.
