Following are the day’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of UnitedHealth and CSX Corp popped while LDK Solar and Chesapeake Energy dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

UnitedHealth (UNH) popped 3%. This and other health insurance stocks reversed yesterday’s losses as investors realized the selling may have been overdone. A sell-off was triggered on Tuesday by word that Republican Senator Olympia Snowe had sided with Dems to vote a health care bill out of committee and onto the floor. - It's a very volatile space, reminds Pete Najarian.

CSX Corp (CSX) popped 6%.  The railroad company beat on earnings and also forecast improved volumes saying that the worst of the recession is over. - I'd stay away, counsels Steve Grasso.

MGM Mirage (MGM) popped 4%. This and other casino names closed higher after new data showed Macau hotel occupancy rates rose 6% year over year. - I like LVS better because 70% of revenue comes from Macau, counsels Tim Seymour.

Harley-Davidson (HOG) popped 7%. Wells Fargo boosted the company to ‘outperform’ ahead of earnings, citing lower costs and increased demand. - Giddyup, exclaims Guy Adami.

Starbucks (SBUX) popped 2%. Bernstein reiterated its ‘outperform’ rating and noted improving sales, particularly abroad. - Nice jolt, says Pete Najarian.

Tata Motors (TTM) popped 6%. The India-based automaker announced plans to increase production of the Nano Minicar by 20%.

Cisco (CSCO) popped 2%. Wells Fargo resumed coverage of the name at ‘outperform’.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

LDK Solar (LDK) dropped 2%. Apparently, investors were less than enthused by the significant changes this firm is making to its management team. - I think there's more room to the downside, speculates Steve Grasso.

Chesapeake Energy (CHK) dropped 3%. Early results suggested there is a little less natural gas in one of their sites than previously expected. - "(The Bossier shale play) is not going to be quite as robust," John Sharp, a Chesapeake executive, told investors.
