”Think of CTC Media as the Viacom of Russia,” explains Seymour, a company that’s carving a niche with younger audiences.
But why invest in the “Viacom of Russia” instead of the real Viacom?
”The answer simply is growth,” he says. “CTC is growing at twice the rate of Viacom – and that should translate into a higher stock price.”
"And Unlike domestic media companies, Russia’s CTC media isn’t facing the same competition from the internet. That translates into a better ad stream. And that translates into a better bottom line."
