ATLANTA - Coca-Cola Co. and the Georgia governor's office says a Coke plant in Atlanta that makes syrup will be expanded and will make ingredients for a new fountain machine.

The machine, called Coca-Cola Freestyle, can dispense more than 100 different types of beverages. It's in the testing stage in metro Atlanta and other areas.

Coca-Cola says early results from the tests are encouraging.

The machine employs cartridges filled with concentrated ingredients to fit more beverage combinations into the same amount of space as a conventional dispenser.
