Penn Virginia Corporation Declares Dividend

RADNOR, Pa., Oct 29, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE: PVA) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.05625 per share payable November 19, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 10, 2009. This will be the Company's 451st consecutive quarterly dividend payment.

Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE: PVA) is an independent natural gas and oil company focused on the exploration, acquisition, development and production of reserves in onshore regions of the U.S., including the East Texas, Mississippi, the Mid-Continent region and the Appalachian Basin.
