Cablevision to raise cable TV rates by 3.7 pct

BETHPAGE, N.Y. - Cablevision Systems Corp. is raising its cable TV prices by an average of 3.7 percent next year.

But the cable TV operator will keep its Internet and phone prices the same. Cablevision, based in Bethpage, N.Y., serves 3.1 million customers in the New York metropolitan area.
