Apartment Investment and Management Company Declares Quarterly Dividend on Class A Common Stock

DENVER, Oct 29, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Apartment Investment and Management Company ("Aimco") (NYSE: AIV) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share of Class A Common Stock for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, payable on November 30, 2009, to stockholders of record on November 20, 2009.

Aimco is a real estate investment trust headquartered in Denver, Colorado that owns and operates a geographically diversified portfolio of apartment communities. Aimco, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is one of the largest owners and operators of apartment communities in the United States with 950 properties, including 154,511 apartment units, and serves approximately 500,000 residents each year.
