URGENT-NYSE quote delays caused by "erroneous" orders

NEW YORK, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Quote dissemination delays on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday were caused by an influx of "erroneous" orders, an NYSE spokesman said. The exchange's Ray Pellecchia said the orders were caught before being executed and that trading was continuous throughout. He was not able to say where the orders came from.
