Traders are eager to hear from the media titans this week. But will they say what the Street wants to hear?
If media earnings were a TV show, the script for bulls would read something like this -- advertising will soon bounce back, a rush of deal making is around the corner and a smart investor should scoop up cheap stocks straight away.

], says Pali analyst Rich Greenfield. The film division at Paramount is doing substantially better and their cable networks are improving on a sequential basis. I expect Viacom will have a nice Q4 and I’d be a buyer into the quarter.
