NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov 03, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- After over two years and $12 million worth of renovations, the Renaissance Nashville Hotel has recently completed the final phase of their property improvements.
The entire remodel of the Fitness Center completed the final phase of the renovations, which included a new lobby, Starbucks(R) Store addition, Grand Ballroom, meeting rooms, guest floor corridors, Bridge Entertainment Bistro and Club Lounge.
The Fitness Center was expanded to include 50 percent more space. A cardio room now boasts the latest equipment such as treadmills, cross-trainers and bikes.
Each comes with its own individual 17-inch TV monitors, where guests can easily download their workout via USB cables and have convenient iPod connectivity. The strength room also underwent the addition of dumbbells, benches and other weightlifting equipment.
This hotel in Nashville, TN took the "green" approach by including the sundeck in the renovations. It was replaced with Trex(R) composite products that are made of a unique combination of 50 percent wood and 50 percent plastic fibers.
Trex gets these fibers from recycled resources such as sawdust and used pallets from woodworking operations as well as recycled plastic grocery bags from all over the country - materials that would otherwise go unused in landfills.
Experience the newly renovated Renaissance Nashville Hotel for yourself, by calling 615-255-8400, or visiting www.renaissancenashville.com for more information or to make a reservation.
