Warren Buffett agreed to buy one of America’s largest railroad companies in a deal valued at $44 billion. So what does Buffett’s move say about investing in America right now? David Pearl, co-chief investment officer of Epoch Investment Partners, shared his insights.

“We prefer companies that have international expansion as well as U.S.”
Pearl said the U.S. economy will eventually recover, but international economies such as those of Asia are currently doing better. So he suggested investing in companies that have prominent international exposure.
