ZUG, Switzerland, Nov 04, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq:FWLT) announced today that its shareholders have elected Clayton C.
Daley, Jr. to the company's board of directors.
Raymond J. Milchovich, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler AG, said, "Clayt has an unusually broad and deep grasp of the strategic issues that face global businesses. Daley, 57, was Vice Chairman of The Procter & Gamble Company, a consumer products company, from January 2009 until his retirement in September 2009. Mr.
Daley was the Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of The Procter & Gamble Company from July 2007 to January 2009 and its Chief Financial Officer from October 1998 until July 2007. Mr. Daley currently serves on the Board of Directors of Nucor Corporation and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. He has served as a Member of the Financial Executives International organization since 1991. Since 1998, Daley has served as a Member of the Officers Conference Group and as a Member of the Council of Financial Executives. He was awarded Institutional Investor magazine's Top CFO, Consumer Products: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. He also serves as Director of Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Cancer Family Care, Inc.
Daley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Davidson College and an MBA from Ohio State University.
