WOONSOCKET, R.I., Nov 04, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS) today announced the appointment of Len Greer to the position of SVP, Marketing for its pharmacy benefit management business. Greer assumes responsibility for the company's PBM marketing from Jack Bruner, who is transitioning to the new role of EVP, Strategic Development.

He joins the company from ActiveHealth where he was the EVP, Marketing responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness in the health plan and plan sponsor marketplace. Prior to his tenure with ActiveHealth he spent six years at Medco Health in various senior marketing roles. Before joining Medco, Greer was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he assisted clients on issues of marketing, strategy, product development and operations.
