DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, Nov 04, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- AirTran Airways will begin new daily service to Milwaukee, Wis. from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), starting April 6, 2010. AirTran will operate the twice daily non-stop flights from DFW's Terminal E.
"AirTran's new flight to Milwaukee is an outstanding new addition to the service DFW is able to offer the North Texas traveler," said Joe Lopano, DFW's executive vice president of marketing and terminal management. "AirTran has a proven track record of success, serving more than 600,000 passengers a year at DFW." AirTran has operated at DFW since April 1998 and currently serves the Airport with eight daily flights to Atlanta, Baltimore and Orlando, utilizing Boeing 717 and Boeing 737 aircraft. AirTran's twice-daily service brings the total number of DFW-Milwaukee daily flights to nine.
