ARLINGTON, Va., Nov 05, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Stanley, Inc.
(NYSE: SXE), a leading provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, today announced that it was awarded a five-year, firm-fixed-price task order valued at $49 million, if all options are exercised, by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) under the company's Encore II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity prime contract. This contract was included in the value of awards to date in the third quarter of fiscal year 2010 during the company's earnings call held on October 29, 2009.
(Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20040106/DCTU010LOGO ) Under this award, the Stanley team will provide cybersecurity services to support the Defense Information Systems Agency Connection Approval Division in the implementation of Department of Defense (DoD) network and security policy.
Stanley will also be tasked with providing vulnerability and risk assessment information, compliance guidance and technical assistance to senior DoD, designated accreditation authorities, security officials and network administrators responsible for ensuring security compliance for all information systems, applications and services connected to the Global Information Grid (GIG).
