HOUSTON, Nov 05, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Service Corporation International (NYSE: SCI) ("SCI"), which owns and operates funeral service locations and cemeteries, announced today that it intends to offer $150 million aggregate principal amount of its senior notes due 2021, subject to market and other conditions. The offering will be made by means of an underwritten public offering pursuant to an automatic shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. SCI intends to use the net proceeds from the offering, together with available cash, to fund SCI's acquisition of Keystone North America Inc.
J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will act as the lead joint bookrunning manager for the offering. The offering may be made only by means of a prospectus and related prospectus supplement.
