(Updates to add Array and American Medical) (For large-cap stocks on the move, click on) Nov 5 (Reuters) - Some small and midcap stocks on the move on Thursday: ARRAY BIOPHARMA, $2.12, up 16 pct UBS upgraded the stock to "buy" from "neutral". AMERICAN MEDICAL SYSTEMS, $17.38, up 12 pct The company reported better-than-expected results late Wednesday. SANMINA-SCI CORP, $8.30, up 25 pct The company posted better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and forecast first-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates. CAREER EDUCATION CORP, $22.89, up 10 pt The education company posted a profit in the third quarter, helped by strong growth in student enrollments. THORATEC CORP, $29.08, up 8 pct The cardiac-device maker posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit and raised its 2009 earnings view. SMITH MICRO SOFTWARE, $6.78, down 25 pct The company's quarterly revenue came in below estimates and it cut its full-year revenue view. ON SEMICONDUCTOR CORP, $7.34, up 7 pct The chipmaker posted a quarterly profit that handily beat estimates, and it forecast fourth-quarter revenue above Wall Street expectations. HURON CONSULTING GROUP, $25.29, up 8 pct The company reported third-quarter results. CHILDREN'S PLACE , $34.89, up 8 pct The company reported October same-store sales. ANSYS INC, $38.79, down 6 pct The company posted a quarterly profit that beat Wall Street expectations but it forecast lower-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue. FUEL SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS, $41.96, up 24 pct The alternative fuel components maker reported a 31 percent rise in quarterly profit and raised its full-year revenue outlook. TRICO MARINE SERVICES, $6.44, up 4 pct The company posted a surprise quarterly profit, helped by strength in its Subsea Services and Subsea Trenching and Protection segments. SUNESIS PHARMACEUTICALS, $0.41, up 8 pct The company said its experimental treatment for acute myeloid leukemia got orphan drug status. ROYALE ENERGY INC, $2.80, up 19 pct The independent energy company released positive test results from its Goddard field. The company said that a well in the field flowed at a rate of 2,450 thousand cubic feet of natural gas per day, and believes that the well is capable of significantly higher producing rates. BUCKLE, $29.84, down 6 pct The company's October same-store sales rose 4.3 percent, missing expectations. DG FASTCHANNEL INC, $25, up 17 pct The company reported its third-quarter results and announced a partnership with Google Inc. LAMAR ADVERTISING CO, $29.19, up 16 pct The billboard firm posted a narrower-than-expected quarterly loss and guided fourth-quarter revenue above Wall Street expectations. MERCADOLIBRE, $43.40, up 13 pct At least two brokerages raised their price targets after the company reported third-quarter results late Wednesday. SANTARUS, $3.63, up 12 pct The company reported third-quarter results late Wednesday. ROFIN-SINAR TECHNOLOGIES INC, $24.62, up 13 pct The company posted better-than-expected quarterly results.
